Leave Britney Alone
Hi
So, I’ve finally gotten around to watching what all the hoopla was about in the “Leave Britney Alone” video. As of this posting, it’s had 6 million plus people on YouTube see it with probably that many spoofs done on it as well. I think as a blogger, I have certain obligations to post something like this out of mere blogging duty. And nothing more.
As for any insightful commentary about this or what this says about our Hollywood-obsessed culture, well, I’ll leave that to you.
I warn you, this is kinda scary and will leave wondering, “WTF?”
cheers

listen, everyone deserves second chances...has anyone thought that this girl maybe suffering from post-partum depression or that fame is a bitch?
so what if she drinks and comes out on stage to perform? society thinks its cool when rock stars such as tommy lee do it or if a rap star like lil' john does it...why can't she?
if she blew everyone away, then the media would have wished she did something more dramatic and drastic.
why this society likes people to fall on their faces is beyond my understanding. today's society has become one of wanting people like britney to fall and makes fools of themselves....does anyone remember the day when she put pop back on the map with 'baby hit me one more time'? no...because it was bland and when she walks on stage lipsyncing, society finds it funny. it isn't. it is sad. and honestly, like britney cares- she has enough more money than the gdp of a small african country, so actually, she is the winner...enough said.
britney is a winner???
"anonymous"...is a loser!
is you were making a million bucks sitting on your ass a month and you haven't released a hit single or album in about 3 years, yes you are a winner and laughing all the way to the bank...2 houses in malibu and counting...yes i stand by the FACT she is a winner, taha...
and with all that she has accomplished...her life is a wreck...no amount of money, houses, or whatever else can make me think she is a winner...btw im sure you also think paris and lindsy are winners too...
if drew barrymore, who was in rehab at 13, can survive, yes these girls can turn their lives around...don't you believe in second chances?
yeah...def a winner!
you must be out of your mind to compare Drew Barrymore who was screwed up at the ages of 9-15 versus Britney Spears who is umm 26?
Britney obvious had quite a bit of success in her time...but she's fallen off and she needs to get some help before the damage is more than she can fix with "enough more money than the gdp of a small african country"...
im sure all that money will mean nothing when she loses custody of her children for being a total moron of a mother....
farooq you beat me to it...thats what i was gonna say...
soceity's temptation can affect at any age...
but my question is why the 2 of you dont seem to want her to have a 2nd chance...
i think both of us realize that britney, and the rest of them...are on their 8th chance...so its a lost cause...
im sorry who are you to judge her?
