Hi

We all know that Dubai is in a world of its own. The touristy and architecture wonders being built there never cease to amaze. Just check this link out as a prime example (this isn't necessarily a new link for some of you, but still cool to see):

I'd love for the opportunity to experience life in Dubai. Just to be in an environment that's accepting of Western culture, but also has its fair share of desi and more importantly Muslim influences would be phenomenal. I mean, you could walk around comfortably in a thobe without worrying what people would think. Not to say that I wear thobes too often, but the idea of being 200% comfortable with your Muslim identity is very appealing. That coupled with the experience of gaining a more worldly knowledge base or perspective is simply invaluable.
