Props go to Fahad's cousin out in Cali for putting this together. This other Imran is talented and pretty funny (something about the name no doubt, eh?):
The crazy wudu guy is hysterical!!
Cheers

There certainly are things one can make fun of in terms of cultural applications of Islam, which may or not have a real basis in tradition.
The problem, however, comes in when one ridicules basic acts of worship that do have their basis in Sunnah.
Clearly the ablution that the wudu guy makes is overboard, but is it really humorous to make fun of ablution itself given its centrality in preparation for salat?
Even if one did accept it, as a depiction of a misguided cultural application of wudu, the next step that the character takes is too much. He relates a hadith (his own rendering of one anyway) and uses that as the basis of his next joke.
What respect does that show for our hadith? Especially when we know the tremendous sacrifices our scholars made in acquiring and preserving hadith. And is derision of hadith anything less than, auzibillah, derision of our Messenger (SAW)?
This is just one example, of many, in this video where acts of ibadah are implicitly or explicitly ridiculed.
Ibadah is the core of our spiritual lives and is quite an earnest, and serious, endeavor. There is plenty of room in other areas of our lives for comedy, plenty of humor in our daily foibles. But ibadah as a subject of humor is a bad combination that should make us sick to our stomaches.
